Cookie policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser on your device when you visit a website. They can be read on subsequent visits. Other browser storage technologies, such as localStorage, work in a similar way — in this policy we treat them together and refer to all of them as cookies.
2. Legal basis
- Article 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (this provision replaced the repealed Article 173 of the Telecommunications Law);
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — in respect of personal data collected via cookies;
- Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications.
Cookies strictly necessary to deliver the service you request do not require consent. All others are only activated once you have given it.
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary — no consent required
These make the site work and remember your privacy decision. They are not used for tracking and cannot be switched off without loss of functionality.
cc_cookie— stores your decision made in the privacy preferences panel. Provider: AIROX. Retention: 6 months.__cf_bm,_cfuvid— distinguish human traffic from automated bots and protect against abuse. Provider: Cloudflare. Retention: 30 minutes and until the browser is closed, respectively. These may be set by the hosting security layer.
Analytics — consent required
These help us understand how you use the site so we can improve it.
As at the date of this policy we do not use any analytics tools. If we introduce them, we will update this section with cookie names and retention periods, and the cookies will only load once you have given consent.
Marketing — consent required
These measure advertising effectiveness and tailor communication.
As at the date of this policy we do not use any marketing or advertising tools. We do not use tracking pixels or remarketing.
4. Third-party services
Typefaces, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own server. The one exception is Google Tag Manager, a tag management tool loaded from Google’s servers (Google Ireland Limited). The manager itself stores no cookies and collects no analytics data; it exists solely to launch other tools only after you have given consent. Until you do, no analytics or marketing tool is activated, and all consent signals (Consent Mode v2) default to “denied”.
The booking button leads to the external service TidyCal. Its cookies are only set once you reach that site and are governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Managing your consent
On your first visit we display a banner where you can accept or reject cookies other than strictly necessary ones. Until you decide, no cookies requiring consent are activated.
You can change your decision at any time — click “Privacy settings” in the site footer.
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site from working correctly, including remembering your privacy decision.
6. How we collect consent
The consent we ask for is:
- freely given — refusing does not restrict access to any content on the site;
- specific — given separately for each category;
- informed — we state the purpose and the providers before you decide;
- unambiguous — it requires an active choice; no category is pre-ticked;
- withdrawable — you can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it.
We ask again after 6 months, and whenever the set of tools we use changes.
7. More information
How we process personal data, including recipients and your rights, is described in our Privacy policy.
